Maria Reiter

It is not known if they were lovers, but Maria certainly felt a strong feeling for him. Hitler, on the contrary, began to avoid meetings with the girl after there was written an anonymous letter at him, in which he was accused in “sexual abuse of a minor.” In 1927, because of this unhappy love, she tried to hang herself on a clothesline. Maria was saved at the last moment: she was pulled out of a loop by a close relative. She married twice, but every time she left her family without hesitation when Hitler invited her to a meeting. They were seen infrequently, but regularly.

Maria fanatically loved the Fuhrer and was devoted to him even after his death. The girl was one of the few who, after the war under oath, declared an intimate relationship with the Fuhrer - this is how Maria tried to dispel rumors about Hitler's homosexuality. She died in 1992, almost half a century having survived the Devil, because of the love, which she almost hanged herself for.
